Vintage Sioux Indian Beads Beaded Beadwork Medallion Design & Brown Leather Bag

Being offered is an old, vintage, Sioux Indian made drawstring bag. The bag is crafted from a brown leather, with beads and beadwork designs and patterns around the edges with a beaded medallion on both sides. The bag does have white tissue paper inside to help fill out the bags form. The bag does show age and wearing in places. There is a tear in the leather running from the top edge shown in the picture. This is a clean tear so probably can be mended using and adhesive patch joining the tear from the inside.

There were beads affixed around the top edge which are missing in places. The beadwork around the edges and medallions all looks intact and the beadwork remains tight. The leather draw string is also frayed and torn in places so probably needs to be replaced. 8 1/2" by 6 1/4", and 2 wide around the sides. In addition, I sell items for Native Americans and from personal collections.
