Cluster Squash Necklace -- Larry Moses Begay -- Navajo Silversmith and Lapidary Artist. Signed ---- LMB under Sterling. One center naja and 8 "cluster squash". Stone settings appear to be Sleeping Beauty Turquoise and Spiny Oyster shell. Sterling silver "bench beads" in single and double strand design. Total weight = 7.2 oz. Note -- "bench beads" seem to be easily dented on other LMB creations. Center of clasp to tip of naja measures 16 inches. Naja measures 3.5" X 3.0". Eight(8) cluster squashes measure 1 7/8" X 1 5/8". Note center settings of spiny oyster shell. Double strands of silver beads measure 19" length / single strands(2) measure 4.5" each. Note the high grade turquoise lapidary work and fine sterling silver settings. Larry Moses Begay --- Navajo ----- Dine Jeweler --- Noted for his designs and creations.
