Very Fine Vintage Native American Sioux style Beaded Bag
Very Fine Vintage (probably early to mid 20th century) Native American Sioux or Sioux style Beaded Bag. Very fine beadwork in excellent condition, depicting flowers on opalescent background. While the leather has some discoloration due to age, the unlined interior and the sides of the purse show so little sign of wear as to suggest the bag has never been used.
Appears to have no bead loss. Fringe includes shells, beads and other items. Beaded area and main part of bag measures about 8" x 8" 1 1/4"; fringe is approx 9" long.
