Presented today is this beautiful vintage Southern Plains Peyote Sash. It is a very important ceremonial garb in the Native American Church. The beading is brilliant yellow and white cylinders, 2 inches in length.
The gorgeous beadwork is in absolutely perfect condition. The material is velour and the tassels are 14 inches long. There is a fortune in the tassels alone! It was collected around 1970, and is possibly 10 to 20 years older than that.
It would make a wonderful addition to your Native American art collection. This piece would look spectacular in any collection. Many Thanks for your kind consideration, and as always, Best Regards, Rich.
