Native American Deerskin Leather Handmade and beaded purse/bag with belt

This deerskin leather bag is totally handmade with leather lacing. The bag represents hours of artistic work. There is beadwork around the edges of the flap and 6fringes down the sides and on the bottom. Seashells are attached to each side and on one side the shells are complimented by cones. The back of the bag has a slot where the two-inch belt is inserted. This belt is 28 long and has ties attached to it so that the belt will fit most everyone.

One of the ties is 28" and the other one is 20". The belt is also made from deerskin and is hand laced.

A decorative medallion closes the bag through a slot in the leather. The bag is six inches by five inches and is an inch wide. It is one of a kind and is at least 30 years old. I received it as a gift 18 years ago and it was not new then. It is in excellent condition with the leather soft and supple. There is a crack on one of the seashells which was there when I received the bag. The leather belt could be removed, and the bag inserted on your own belt if you desire. The color of the bag is a golden tan.
