Native American Choctaw Hand Beaded Belt and Buckle Shelton Hand tooled leather

This belt and buckle come from the estate of my great aunt, a Choctaw citizen and collector of Native American art and fine jewelry. I suspect this is a custom piece, since her intials (JD) are part of the stampwork.

The leather belt is hand tooled, and signed by artist J Shelton. The buckle is hand beaded with glass beads, and the backing is buckskin. In very good used condition, with normal wear to the leather. Total length of the piece (including the buckle) is 35.6 inches. I'm not sure how belts are sized, so I've just laid the tape measure next to it.
