By ESTHER GUARDIAN - ZUNI. Stunning beaded red cardinal by Zuni artist Esther Guardian. Cardinal is made from red seed beads accented with an orange beak and black face and legs. Fully hand beaded over a pillow form using the traditional peyote stitch and is mounted on a wood base.

Measures 7 1/2 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide, and 6 1/2 inches tall. Signed on bottom by artist.
