Lakota Beaded Wool Blanket Strip Buckskin Beads Fringe Native American Vintage

Lakota man's courting beaded strip sewn to real wool blanket. Used, and in great condition for pow wow, modeling, graduation ceremony, weddding, giveaway, and camping. The beads are probobly Czech beads and it appears to be beaded on braintan buckskin as the leather is dry and soft after so many years, not oily like commercially tanned hides.

The red beads are Venetian white-hearts. It measures just over 2 yards wide by just under 5 feet long The strip itself is 46 inches wide by 2.25 tall and each rosette is 3.25 wide.

The wool is in good condition as the blanket has been a wall hanger for most of its life. It covers a queen size bed quite nicely. There are many years of life left in this high-quality blanket.
