This comes with an old note of provenance indicating that the bag was from the "Nesquaki Indians" which may or may not be accurate. It is dated around the last half of the 19th century (1800s). It shows notable wear, as pictured. There is some loss of beading around the edges and the bag itself has lost most of its seam around the edges.
