On offer is an antique Iroquois beaded bird. Made in 1899 (dated on the tail bottom) by an Iroquois artisan, this delightful bird is crafted from stuffed linen-like fabric and heavily beaded with mainly red beads, noting a few beads are missing. The Iroquois made these delightful follies as tourist offerings in and around Niagara Falls. The ornamented bird features white beaded eyes and holds a tassel of gold and blue beads. The bird measures 8" long, 4 ½" high, and 5 tall.
