Fine Plateau Yakima Native American Rose & Mountains Beaded Leather Flat Bag

Offered is a stunning Plateau Yakima Native American Beaded Flat Bag with a beaded rose and mountain design on one side, soft tanned leather and a blue velveteen back. The inside is lined with a patterned purple cloth. This beautiful piece measures 13" by 11 1/4", including the fringe but not the handles. The beaded portion is 10 1/4" by 9". It has a tag identifying the Yakima artist as Marion Albert Mosqueda. It has a piece of cardboard inside to stablize it. Most of the items we sell come from our personal collection gathered over the years from our travels, from Native powwows and craft stores, antique shops, auctions and estate sales. Now that our kids are in college and beyond, we are letting some items go so others can enjoy them.

Sorry for the expense, but I've had items lost overseas when mailing first class and don't want to take the risk of losing items. I pack carefully and try to reuse materials to save on environmental impact. I often double-box items with smaller gift boxes collected from various thrift stores. I reuse all that I receive and hope you will make use of the ones that come in your packages.
