1880's Cheyenne Soft Cradle measures approx. 10 deep at the top. This is a excellence beaded Soft Cradle large enough to for a normal baby. This Cheyenne Soft Cradle was Sinew sewn on buffalo hide. Beaded linear and geometric designs in colors of dark blue, light blue, yellow, red, and pink. The parfleche tab is beaded and embellished with 2 beaded drops and beaded strains on middle of tab. There are 2 ties missing in the front below the bead work. The Beadwork is exceptionally well preserved, the buffalo hide has some stiffness but can be softened by a professional. Overall this outstanding Cheyenne Soft Cradle is exceptionally well preserved and displays beautifully. A very rare and wonderful, ca1880 Native American Cheyenne Indian full size, Beaded Decorated, Soft Cradle and would make a fantastic addition to any collection!!!
