Authentic antique Plains Native American beaded moccasins, hand-crafted from brain-tanned hide with traditional glass seed beadwork. Northern Plains Perhaps Lakota Tribe? Stylistically consistent with Lakota (Teton Sioux) or closely related Plains tribes. Attribution is based on beadwork patterns, color palette, sole-edge beading, and heel construction.

No specific tribal provenance is provided; attribution is made responsibly and conservatively. Hand-sewn with sinew and/or early trade thread.

Vertical lane beadwork motif on the vamp. Continuous beaded edging along the sole seam.

These moccasins show honest wear consistent with age and use. Heavy sole wear with thinning and a tear on one sole. Beadwork largely intact with minor losses. Hide remains stable but fragile due to age. Interior paper stuffing appears to be a later addition by a previous collector. Due to age and condition, these moccasins are offered strictly as display, study, or collection pieces and are not wearable. Please review all photos carefully for condition details. No restoration or repairs have been performed.
