The belt is in amazing original condition. 99% of all original beads are present with only a few missing. Original leather straps are in soft supple and still wearable condition.

The belt is in hand beaded in a southwest Navajo geometric pattern. The beads are a clear background with cobalt blue, gold, and little red accent beads. There is some period textile material used when connecting beads to leather straps that help date the age.

Absolutely beautiful example of an antique native beaded belt. 36 from end of buckle to first hole.
