(2) Zuni BEADED Figure WITCH & VAMPIRE Venita Tsipa HALLOWEENNative American Indian. Both of these great figures were made in 2003 by Venita Tsipa from the New Mexico Zuni Pueblo. They have been carefully stored. Unsigned, but identified as her work when we aquir ed them. Benita is from the Corn Clan, born in 1953; learned beading at the age of 12 from her Mother at the age of 12.
Penny is for size reference. The Witch is 3.5 inches high, has a great nose and an overskirt; the Vampire has great fangs and a tie-on cape. Lots of detail; these are a real treasure for display at any time of the year, but especially Fall and Halloween.
